It has be a quiet 4th of July weekend here. I had to work, so there wasn't any gallavanting about. I have today off, so out to the garden to harvest some of the Bergamot (Bee Balm). They make such a show for the 4th, the bright red flowers look like fireworks, don't they?
I'm getting really excited, we go to the beach this coming Saturday for a week. I have a craving for the ocean. I really need to see the ocean periodically for my mental health. Have a wonderful week, don't forget to visit Make Mine Pink for Pink Friday.

So that's what they are called! You learn something every day. I have seen Bergamots here in Florida,but never knew what they were called. So pretty! And they do look like fireworks!. One of these days I will go to the beach. I do love to walk along the shore. But I can sure do without sharks so I doubt I will go swimming in the ocean. There are a gazillion sharks here in Florida! lol

Have a wonderful time at the beach. Yes, it is very invigerating and renewing. Our daughter lives on the coast and we love visiting her and walking the dog on the beach. Do you do something with the Bee Balm? It sounds vaguely familiar to me!
